First LHP since 1956 to throw a no-hitter at Fenway: Jon Lester. 3 baserunners, 9 innings, retired 17 in a row and kept it scoreless. And consider that he's already pitched in the World Series to win game 4.
(2 no-hitters by Sox rookies or sophmores in as many seasons. Wonder what Hank has to say to Cashman now?)
Elsewhere, I summed up the various 5th starter candidates, and playfully mentioned one who used to be a starter, and if Smoltzie can do it.... ;-)
One other name that I have not mentioned, and not heard mentioned anywhere: burning out his fuse up here alone [thanks to Bernie Taupin for those words].
Chen Ming who? Joba what's his face?

Oh, and today's magic number is 6. :) :) :) :)
Gosh, Mellie, I was going to make a new post to congratulate Les, but you beat me to the punch.
