2 Games

Two games do not a season make. Two games to KC, when the bats were not working. Phil started but got beat. Ian did not start due to omnipresent squalling, yet the game went on. Brian Bruney got the nod, and went two scoreless, with Billy Traber again looking good in the third. Kyle's gone Krazy again, and Ian finally came in beginning the sixth after being held out in case there was a rain delay.

Two games in September, and Ian was anointed our saviour, one of the Three Amigos. Two games in April, and he's a bum. Two games is not enough to form an opinion upon. Ian is a talented fellow with great promise. He's a rookie. The Yanks have a losing record. It's April. Relax.

[Confidential to Dear Melanie and all of the other denizens of the Fens near and dear to my heart: Thank God for the Red Sox - otherwise, WE would be in the cellar! Ooh! Scary monsters in the cellar!! LOL]

[P.P.S. to sweet Gretchen from Eight Mile: I know it's fashionable to love those scruffy Red Socks, all Cowboy'd Up and all, and the Tigers ARE the home team.... gosh, it MUST be tough to love TWO last place teams :-( Come over to the Dark Side, Baby - the Manhattan Maulers await. Break on through.....] ;-)

All I have to say is one thing, pumpkin: You're gonna build a franchise around 87 pitches in 3 innings? Good luck with that.

;)

Ooh...got a big interview tomorrow, too.

Oh...and now we're getting some rhythm back...ps...checked the standings? At least we didn't get spanked by Tampa.

Gosh, sweetie, I think I was cautioning AGAINST rash expectations ;-)

Good luck with the interview today! Hope all turns out for the best :-)

gah. count on a guy to make everything dirty...although I do it sometimes, too. ;) Btw- I like the way Dice-K is going after hitters with his heat, Jon Lester looks pretty good for a sophmore, and Wake picks up his first win after completely crushing whatever momentum and spirit Detroit might have had.

Interviewing at the corner of Boylston and Yawkey Way- getting to the T ought to be interesting since the big, bad, and creaky Yanks are rolling into town. ;P
