Two Games and Knocked Out

Ian Kennedy was trying to pitch to his reputation early on this season [against Tampa and KC in his first two outings]. As a result, he was trying to be too fine, and [in a nutshell?] got shelled as a result.

Last night he had a strong performance again against the Rays, and only got knocked out of the game when he [literally] got knocked out of the game [by a liner off the hip]. Remember what I had to say about two games? IPK's coming around.....

Robbie pinch-hit last night and blasted one against Al Reyes..... man, talk about Old Reliable! Death, taxes, Al Reyes giving up home runs - one can count on a few things in life. Just applied for an extension, as I just did get in one of my W2 forms =:-0 A-Rod whacked #521 to join Ted Williams and Big Willie McCovey on the all-time list, and THAT is rarified air, my friends!

Moose is looking a whole lot better than last year, too, and I am optimistic. With Joba on the bereavement list, Jon Albaladejo has been called-up. In other news, Chad Moeller has come up to spell JoMo at backup catcher [Willie Bet has pinkeye - so THAT's why he can't see well enough to hit the damn ball? Maybe KK has the same affliction?]
