So, what did the brewmaster decide on?
What do you prefer drinking... dark ales, pilsners, bitter, pale ale, bock? Or does it mainly go with the foods you're having with them?
Oh, darn it - The German Pantry was closed for the holiday. [No draught Hefeweisen, no sauerbraten, no pretels und mustard, no flirting with Marina, who wore fairy wings on Hallowe'en :-)]
So, I constructed the PB and B, and then wrote about it on your site!
Bier for the food, ja!!
I try to keep countries alike:
Red Stripe for Jerked Chicken, for example. I DO break the colourization scheme, though... sometimes I have Guinness with Irish Stew or Fish n Chips. I always have the Hefe at GP, too. Bitter, I can usually do with out, and India Pale Ales annoy me - they have a twang from the chemicals needed to get them off to India [in the olden days!] which are retained for taste reasons today. Ick!!
Foster's at Outback [the draught, as I love the tap! But, I DO enjoy the oil can too]
Generally Corona at Mexican joints [although I am a big fan of Mexican beers and many names will do]. Italian places, Moretti - that's the one with the man in the suit and hat enjoying a frosty mug. Great advertisement!! Chinese places, generally Tsing Tao. Thai places, Singha [NEVER Klosters!!] Filipino places, San Magoo [what else!!] Japanese, Kirin [the Dragon!]
For home consumption, I am on a Miller Chill kick, light, clean, refreshing. Sounds like an old Pepsi Cola commercial :-)
